Hong Kong-based William Si-Tu will lead the origination and execution of investment banking activities in the region across the technology, media and telecom sector, including AI.
The long-serving Societe Generale executive has most recently led the French bank’s global markets business in Japan, and will succeed Bruno Gaussorgues, who is taking on a group head role at the bank.
The new branch in the IFSC will be led by Mihir Baxi, and will support renewable energy and infrastructure in India, including roads, transmission, data centres, technology and telecommunications.
