Hong Kong-based William Si-Tu will lead the origination and execution of investment banking activities in the region across the technology, media and telecom sector, including AI.

The former Nomura, UBS and Deutsche Bank banker brings more than 25 years of global M&A and strategic advisory experience.

The long-serving Societe Generale executive has most recently led the French bank’s global markets business in Japan, and will succeed Bruno Gaussorgues, who is taking on a group head role at the bank.
